Meet Jolene Earthwednesday Marquez, founder and lead designer of Bay Park Flowers. A San Diego beach-town native, Jolene discovered her love of flowers at a young age, inspired by her grandfather’s passion for nature. She spent her early years designing in local flower shops before building a successful 20-year career in corporate banking. After being diagnosed with cancer in 2018, Jolene realized life is too short to leave dreams unfinished. On February 15, 2020, she took a leap of faith and opened Bay Park Flowers just weeks before the world shut down. Through resilience, creativity, and heart, she transformed her little neighborhood flower shop into a thriving boutique floral studio. Known for her dreamy, garden inspired designs, Jolene believes every arrangement should tell a story and evoke emotion. Her work is artistic, intuitive, and inspired by nature, creating flowers that feel as unique as the people receiving them. When she’s not designing, you’ll likely find her exploring estate sales, wandering through nature, or spending time with the family she loves so deeply. Her favorite reminders around the shop: • “Don’t fight the flowers let them guide you.” • Telling the flowers good morning, or good night! (Every morning when opening the flower cooler or closing .) Yes! You can order online anytime at bayparkflowers.com or by phone at (619) 230-5340 during our business hours (Mon Closed, Tue-Thu 10:00 AM-5:00 PM, Fri-Sat 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, Sun 10:00 AM-2:00 PM).
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, bank account payments, and Afterpay at our online checkout. For in-store or phone orders, we take cards, House Accounts, cash.
Can I request certain flowers or colors?
Of course! You can let us know your preferred flowers or color palette. While some blooms may be seasonal or limited, we’ll do our best to create an arrangement that reflects your vision.
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time (additional cost)

Yes, we deliver to homes, hospitals, businesses, and venues across San Diego. Please provide the full address and any delivery notes during checkout
Can I include add-ons with my bouquet or arrangement?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of flower delivery add-ons to personalize your arrangement such as small gifts or keepsakes. You’ll see available add-ons on each product page and again at checkout.
How do I make my flowers last longer?
Trim the stems, place them in fresh water, and keep the arrangement in a cool spot away from direct sunlight to extend their life.
